Who we are
Lesotho Between Headlines is a non-profit, independent news organization dedicated to unearthing the stories that shape Lesotho. Founded by journalist Nicole Tau, we produce thought-provoking, insightful, and underreported investigative journalism. We are committed to exposing systemic problems, exploring solutions, and providing the context Basotho need to understand the forces affecting their lives.
Our vision
Our vision is a Lesotho where informed citizens are a catalyst for change. We aspire to be a leading platform for fearless journalism that sparks overdue dialogues, holds leaders accountable, and advocates for policies that prioritize human dignity. We aim to empower voices and build a community where Basotho can fearlessly demand a better future.
“The way to right wrongs is to turn the light of truth upon them.”
— Ida. B. Wells
